Our recovery took longer than expected. My "Mommy Immunity" didn't kick in and I can down with something...jury is still out on what it was. Thomas was slowly recover and Nana selflessly volunteered to come all of the way from Georgia to help us for the week. They jumped in the car with a several hours notice and were here by the next morning.
Thomas started to perk up when I told him Nana was almost here....look at that smile.
We have logged many hours on the ipad over the last 10 days. Someone can make it go wherever he wants! There are 5 times as many apps for him as there are for me!
Friday was Nana's birthday. We celebrated with a yummy chocolate cake. Thomas heard us say happy birthday and started saying "Happy Day, Nana!" So cute!
Papa came in town on Friday night. Thomas was so excited to play with him and directed him to the "cuddering" table pronto.
Papa brought a book on horses. Thomas was so excited!
This morning, we went to the zoo. It has been the most glorious weather!

Papa took Thomas to ride on the train! As you can imagine, it was the highlight of the day.
After a nap, we played in the yard....Thomas loves to kick the ball...he yells "hi-ya!" every time he kicks the ball.
