"Chunshine"

Thomas has a love-hate relationship with the sun. He loves to play outside when the sun is shining, but he HATES it when the sun gets in his eyes. He flails about violently in the car when the sun hits his eyes and screams "chunshine!!" He has never been a fan of sunglasses...didn't like to have anything over his eyes, until he discovered that they will help keep that dreaded "chunshine" from being so bright.

When we were at Target this weekend, Thomas picked out a pair of his very own sunglasses. He didn't want any of the plain black ones....not even any of the batman ones. No, he wanted the red and yellow ones. He thought he was hot stuff!! He wore them the whole time we were in the store.

And of course, when sunglasses aren't on your eyes, they go on top of your head. Wonder who he sees do that? : )

On Sunday, we went on a walk with the Bowie girls, and it was great. I didn't have to worry about moving the stroller shade up and down to block the sun because he rocked his sunglasses the whole time......Mommy loves Thomas's sunglasses too!

This is how Thomas played all Sunday afternoon. Rebecca said he was a "cool cat" and Patrick said he looked like a little Cee Lo Green....Thomas has definitely got his own little style!
