Thomas is one happy kiddo lately. His first week at EUMK was a huge success. He loves his teachers, Ms. Laura and Ms. Heidi. He also loves all of the fun things they get to do....color with markers (not allowed at our house), cut play dough with real scissors, cook in he kitchen, feed the hamster carrots, read books and sing songs. I don't know how they cram so much fun in all before 2:00!
On Tuesday, his teachers gave Thomas a special sticker because he was the only kid who sang out loud during song time and he knew all the words! He was so proud to show me his sticker when I came to pick him up. He is constantly singing at home. We sing all different songs and he is sweet to ignore my awful voice!
Last week, we had a huge limb fall out of the tree in our front yard. Thankfully, it missed the house! It was such a big limb that it covered almost the entire front yard. Thomas pulled up a chair to look at the tree while Dada was inspecting!
The men came on Friday to clean it up. Thomas and I sat in the dining room window and watched for over an hour. He was mesmerized by the chainsaws, "bobcat," and chipper. Mighty Machines was live at our house that day! He loved to watch the chipper "chew the tree up and spit it out!"
Busy weekend and week....LuLu moved this past weekend. After 30 years, she is finally in a new house and doesn't have all that yard to take care of! She is only 5 minutes away and I already enjoy not having to drive as far!
