We have been at Watercolor with Mimi, Tino, BooBoo and Annie since Friday. We were loaded down for our trip. We left on Thursday at lunch. 5 minutes down the road, this was the scene. Success! We spent the night in Montgomery after a hellacious traffic jam on I-65 in Birmingham.
We got to the beach in time for lunch, naps and then an afternoon on the beach!
Henry wasn't so sure about the ocean at first, but warmed up in no time!
We haven't all been to the beach together in years - not since Thomas was born. Patrick had to skip this trip for the Top Hatter's party and work. We sure do miss him!
Tino brought his guitar and should feel like a star. His fans have followed him all over the house just to listen to him play. He even learned how to play "Taxi" because Henry kept requesting it!
The first morning at the beach was great.
Ended the day with a delicious dinner at Café 30A.
We rented one of the buggies for the bicycle and we tried it out Sunday morning. Pulling 75 pounds behind a bike is no joke. My legs were screaming on even the slightest incline. The boys love it though!
PJ's, cereal and a bike ride!
Another great morning digging in the sand.
This little one couldn't hang any longer and just passed out in my arms. I could have held him forever.
Being silly on the front porch.
All smiles!
