The night before Thomas's birthday, we were being silly with the camera. I had to get one last picture of Thomas as a three year old. He was so excited to turn four!
We had dinner on the Terrace on his actual birthday.
He got a set of real golf clubs for his birthday so we promised him that he could use them after dinner. One of the perks of having a golf course in our backyard these days.

On Saturday, we had Thomas's birthday party. It was a construction themed swim party. Thomas got to pick this year! It was super convenient since it was in our temporary backyard as well!
Nana and Papa came back in town for the little man's big day.

So excited that Ms. Rebecca and Ms. Helene were there!

Thomas found a picture of this cake on Pinterest when we were looking at decorations. He said that he wanted me to make this for him. While I appreciate his confidence in my baking skills, I cheated a little. Bought a chocolate sheet cake and decorated it myself. To him it was all the same and he was so proud.
