Fun at School

Thomas loves his school. He always runs down the hall to his classroom in the mornings. He has the best teachers, too. They do such a good job planning fun activities for them to do each week. It is amazing how much they learn....little sponges.

 

This week is Dr. Seuss week. They have been reading different books each day. They posted these pictures from yesterday. Look at how good they are all being. Any mom of a toddler understands how rare it is for one toddler to sit still and read, much less 9 of them! My little guy, on the other hand, would sit there all day if he had a stack of books to read....just like his Daddy. 

 

 

Of course, Thomas picked out the book with a train in it. The obsession continues....

 

Time to get a little comfy...this picture makes me laugh. He is such a big boy laying there reading his book.

 

Last week, they had a costume day. Thomas still doesn't love to dress up in a full on costume, so I had to improvise. We decided that Thomas would dress up like a businessman and wear one of Patrick's ties...but it ended up that he was dressing up like his Daddy. When people asked him who he was, he would say "Daddy." How cute is that? Lately, he will grab his diaper bag and walk to the back door and say "bye bye" like Daddy does in the morning with his briefcase. He sure does love his Daddy!
