Where has the summer gone? School started 2 weeks ago, and we are all still trying to adjust to the routine of school days. Thomas is at EUMK again this year in the JK class. He goes 5 days a week - 4 days until 2:15 and then half day on Friday. I have been really surprised at how much 5 days of schools takes out of all of us!
He has the best teachers - Ms. Kim and Ms. Jenny. They keeps these kiddos playing and learning all day. By the end of the year, Ms. Kim says he should be reading simple books! Thomas thrives at school so it is good for him to be back.
Little brother gets his turn to join the fun at EUMK this year. He is in the Toddler room on Tuesdays and Thursdays. His teachers are Ms. Holly and Ms. Lisa - such sweet ladies. He loves school already and is busy, busy, busy until he crashes! We had to drop our morning nap for school and this early bird (like 4:45/5:00 am early) has been struggling. He fell asleep in his lunch one day last week.
When I'm cooking dinner around 5 on school days, this is what I get...he is never still unless he is sleeping so I know this kid is really tired! He is laying on his nap mat, which he is obsessed with, and watching Elmo.
But in true Henry fashion, he rallied, and was off getting into his brother's stuff - too cool for school!
Hope and baby Annie came to visit us when they were in town last week. We all loved getting to meet this precious little girl! I hate that they live so far away!
Saturday was the first football game of the season and we woke up ready to go! Jerseys on over our PJ's and calling the Dawgs before breakfast!
Henry wasn't quite sure what all of the fuss (a.k.a. yelling, cheering, jumping and barking) was all about but he soon joined in and was pointing to the TV and barking. Ha!
Calling the Dawgs - we have to compress our team spirit warm up this year because we are off to Nashville next weekend to watch the UGA v. Vandy game.
The Y chromosome means they are born knowing how to watch football. It is really amazing!
