This picture pretty much sums up Thomas's birthday party. He had a blast! Mr. Joe from Music for Aardvarks came and did a music class for Thomas and all of his friends. I apologize for so many pictures, but it was too hard to narrow them down!
Shake, Rattle and Roll on Over! Ready for our music-themed party!
Giving BooBoo the stink face!
Can't let go of our popcorn from Tino's popcorn machine!
Time to sing and dance!
Birthday boy LOVES Mr. Joe!
Harris was very intrigued by the singing!
Singing under the parachute!
Dancing under the bubbles...
Pure joy!
Happy Birthday Boy!
Mr. Joe dressed up Thomas for the last song! I couldn't believe he wore that wig.
Playing the air guitar from Mr. Joe!
BooBoo decided to try it on too!
Instruments and more bubbles!
Cake time! I made Thomas a number "2" cake. What would we do without Pinterest?
Happy Birthday to Thomas! He was so excited that everyone was singing to him!
Lots of sweet friends celebrating with us!
A farewell Happy Birthday from Mr. Joe.
Sweet birthday wishes from Mrs. Bowie!
DeeDee, John Eric and Jane came into for Thomas's party. What a special treat. Thomas absolutely LOVES DeeDee. Sweet Jane was so good during the party. I cannot believe how big she has gotten since I was in Jackson.
Our first baseball glove and ball from Nana and Papa.
Reading our new books with Papa.
A Tonka bulldozer from Grandmother. He wanted the bulldozer to "push the dirt."
One more happy birthday song to this sweet boy. He just eats it up!
Our little fireman blowing out his candles!
Driving his car from Helene and Watson.
Our new fishing pole from Grandmother!
Helping Tino unscrew his new backhoe from Annie. Thomas knows the difference between all types of construction equipment...more than I even know!
In case you haven't noticed, we are 100% boy...loves tractors, bulldozers, dump trucks, tools, firemen, baseball, cars, digging in the dirt, and fishing.
Thomas woke up at 4:30 in the morning after the party screaming to go outside and play with his birthday presents. Ha! I told him to go back to sleep and after about an hour, he was just dreaming about the toys.
Once he woke up for good, he started playing with Papa immediately. Fireman hat on and tractor flashlight in hand!
Then a costume change to our Braves jersey and baseball glove.
The only way he would eat breakfast was to put both the bulldozer and backhoe on his tray - not next to him, ON HIS TRAY. There are two donut holes buried in the middle and his milk. Silly boy!
We are so glad that Grandmother came in town to celebrate with us!
Watching some videos with Nana.
We spent the rest of today riding our new four-wheeler, playing in the dirt, taking long naps and swimming at the club. This has been such a wonderful weekend full of family, friends and parties! Thomas is a lucky little boy to have so many people who helped celebrate his second birthday.
